Burt Bialik, Ph.D. has extensive mentoring experience including having served as Director of graduate programs for the Professional School of Psychological Studies, leading that educational institution in its pioneering distance learning program in the mid-1980's. In his tenure there, he created many courses along the lines of Human Communication, Group Therapy, Stress Management, Existential Therapies, and Human Sexuality. Later, in the mid-1990's, he was the Training Coordinator and an instructor for Southwestern Oregon Community College, providing training and development classes for organizations.

In private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist, hypnotherapist, facilitator, consultant, and success coach for almost twenty years, Dr. Bialik is renowned for his work with individuals, couples, and families. His areas of of expertise include relationship enhancement, parenting skills, career counseling, stress management, bereavement, addictions (including alcohol and drugs, nicotine, and eating disorders), life transitions, communication skills, and solution focusing in therapy and management.

As Clinical Director of the Vision Foundation, Dr. Bialik developed and facilitated international retreat programs in human potential, and trained staff for the Ken Keyes Center. Highlights of his professional training include studying with Carl Rogers, Ph.D. and graduating from a 3-year Gestalt training program led by Drs. Erving and Miriam Polster. Dr. Bialik earned his B.A. in Sociology at the University of Illinois, his M.A. in Guidance & Counseling at Northeastern Illinois University, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from International College in 1986.
